Synthesis of the ideas regarding the concept of an XForms extension action called "transform"

  1. Stylesheet could be contained into an XForms data instance.
  2. Stylesheet as an inline element, namely xf:model/exkf:transform referenced with "#id", just like an inline schema.
  3. For external stylesheet, reference to it to be made by using doc() function or "file://".
  4. Such action can be used for dynamic rendering of XHTML (+ XForms) markup, through xf:output with appropriate mediatype.
  5. This action can have a "type" attribute, in order to designate the type of transformation , which could be: XSLT, XQuery, or XProc (such transformation is to be done on client).

Test cases for eXSLTForms extension actions for XForms

Transform action: replaces instance('instance1')/v1 with XSL Transformed instance('instance2')/pac (with parameters)
